Mudslinger Long Course

While not nearly as intense as the late 80s or early 90's when we made you climb 5000 ft and race 32 miles, this loop is plenty for your early season Mudslinger Experiance. The success of this event is the fact we have the Blodgett School as our base of operations and excellent logging road climbs to spread you all out, followed by a lot of singletrack packaged into a fun area to ride or race!

Always subject to logging conditions, and please get a Starker Forests permit who owns and manages the land for the Tum Tum Unit by stopping by before riding anytime other than the Mudslinger!

Anyone can sign up for the long course, so pack your gear and come for the adventure and fun with your trusty mountain bike!

Mudslinger Short Course

The little brother or sister to the Mudslinger Long Course. The first 3.7 miles shares the same route, with some of the same thrills and grinds as the longer verison, sized down for the new moutnain bike racer or person not wanting as much commitment.

Find your inner Mudslinger this coming April!

RACE Time at the Mudslinger!

Fun

Join Hundreds from all over Oregon and the Northwest at the Mudslinger on the first Saturday in April for an annual celebration of mountain biking and one fun time since 1987. After an incredible 2023, this year's course will bring back some old favorites from days gone by!

Last year was Muddy, so this year should be sunny right?

Climb or grind to the top of a ridge and bomb down fast-paced, loamy trails built off our Pacific NW Logging heritage and yours honestly with some dedicated friends.

An excellent front tire is a must to bite into the dirt, and being the day is usually 55 degrees or even 60 with a 40% chance of rain, you must be ready for anything.

Since 2001 we have been in Blodgett, Oregon, 20 minutes west of Corvallis, to continue the tradition after the 1991 NORBA State Championships was held on this ground.

Fantastic old-school logging roads with 35% singletrack in most years that will leave you on edge.

Thank you, Starker Forests, for supporting the Mudslinger course and recreation for many trail users.

Challenging and fun for all!

Over the years, we have celebrated riders who have dominated the Mudslinger mountain bike race and also racing in general in Oregon. Erik Tonkin, Jonathan Myers, Don Leet, Alice Pennington, and in 2023, we celebrate Carl Decker as our Legend of Oregon MTB.

For over 30 years, Carl Decker has continued to be a force of nature on and off the race course. We met Carl in 1992 at the Mudslinger, so its only fitting to be now able to have your next beverage with Carl coming at you on his mountain bike.
